At Accord Care we understand that our participants value their communities and that community access support is a vital component to this. Whether you are looking for ways to learn new skills, make friends or discover a hobby, our team can help you find and attend activities that suit your interests.
We provide three levels of funded NDIS community access support. Level 1 provides 7-14 days, level 2 provides 14-28 days and level 3 for 28 days per year of attending key activities and aiming to build capabilities for future independence.
Personal Development
Engage in personal development activities such as accessing the library, yoga or art classes and music lessons.
Sporting Activities
Support for sporting activities including natural and park walks, accessing the gym, swimming at the local pool and watching sporting events.
Individual Interests and Necessities
Support to access individual interests or necessary activities including going for a walk or drive, grocery shopping, attending the bank, post office or medical appointments.
Social and Community
Help with social and community activities such as visiting friends and family, going to a cafe or restaurant, attending community events, the movies or a concert.
